The Scientific advisory board

The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) consists of individuals who work in the field of science or strategic research and who have shown substantial interest in the scientific and technological research of the Foundation.

The SAB is an advisory body tasked with providing critiques, recommendations, and guidance for the strategic/scientific orientation of the Foundation.
Specifically:

  • It proposes the general directions that the Foundation’s research activities must adhere to, with attention to the Regional and National Health Plans, and to International Bodies;
  • It expresses its evaluations regarding research plans and projects, verifying their consistency with the established aims of the Foundation, and the coordination and mutual association between research activities and those of diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation;
  • It assesses the results achieved within the various programs and research projects, suggesting any interventions aimed at improving the quantitative and qualitative aspects of research activities.
