POLO TECNOLOGICO is the interdisciplinary biomedical technology department of Don Gnocchi Foundation. It is aimed at research, apllications and training on advanced technologies in medicine and rehabilitation.

POLO TECNOLOGICO major goals are:
- to save advanced biomedical technology research as a Foundation's major asset;
- to empower this kind of research, also individuating new sectors of interest;
- to improve the exchange between high-tech research and clinical appications;
- to improve the interaction with industry, especially in technology transfer and commercial exploitation phases;
- ro initiate and support education and training events on biomedical technology both for internal and external people


Though being a unit of the Foundation's research hospital “S. Maria Nascente” in Milano, POLO TECNOLOGICO is a depertment structure, with the responsibility of co-ordinating all the biomedical technology research project developed in all Foundation's Centres. In addition, in collaboration with the Don Gnocchi Foundation's Education and Training Area, POLO TECNOLOGICO develops excellence training programmes in the field of advanced biomedical technologies.
