Travel Information
Parma enjoys an excellent position, because it can be easily reached by all means of transportation.
BY TRAIN: highspeed trains "Eurostar" and standard trains operate frequently and daily from Milan (120 km) and Bologna (90 km).
BY CAR: highway A1 (autostrada del Sole) links Parma with Milan and Bologna; highway A15 (autostrada della Cisa) connects Parma with Pisa (150 km). Exit: Parma. Please provide cash or credit card to pay the toll, if not owner of the italian Telepass.
BY PLANE: Bologna airport "Guglielmo Marconi" is only 90 km from Parma; Milan Linate 110 km; Milan Malpensa 160 km. Parma airport "Giuseppe Verdi" (www.parma-airport.it) is daily connected only with Rome, and twice a week with London Stansted. Also Verona, Bergamo and Pisa airports are not far away from Parma (max 150 km), but not well connected by train.
